Helping Hands

"No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."

~Jesus

Jesus, better than anyone else in history, understood the power of love. Our hope is to influence everyone in our community toward God by simply demonstrating his love in practical ways.

Here's how it works: We let everyone within a mile of the church know that we're available and eager to help with whatever needs may arise (raking, computer help, shoveling, mowing, moving furniture, etc.).

If you live in the neighborhood (about a mile or closer to Elver Park), give Miranda a call at 225-3652 or an email at helpinghands@pogcc.org. Someone from Point of Grace would be happy to help you. As always, we promise that no donations will be accepted and no unsolicited religious conversations will happen. We just want to demonstrate in a practical way how Jesus wants people to treat others. It really would be a privilege to help you.
